It works.
Yes/no questions never reflect the truth. My W7 system did not recognize The LifeCam 5000 did not work until it did. I rebooted and unplugged the cam and re-conected it a few times, and suddenly there it was. One thing - to use it with Doxy.me (Zoom too, I think) you have to turn off the installed camera app and let the online service pick it up by itself. Follow all hints and troubleshooting tips that pop up. Sound quality is OK but if your system is hooked up to room speakers, turn the speaker gain way down to avoid major feedback.
