More! More! Constrained by the bounds of what we see as an idealized existence, cracks begin to appear as a brother and sister are transported to this black and white 1950's t.v. serial. Pleasantville is a gentle movie until change is introduced and people feel their predictable existence threatened. Surprisingly, this movie teaches as it entertains, the characters grow and reach for the unknown future.
