Unusual interesting-sounding VA synth
The Venom is an odd duck. If you're buying it as a generic low-cost virtual analog synth, you should probably look elsewhere (Roland JD-Xi, Roland Boutique, Novation Mininova etc.) But if you're looking for something that sounds dirtier, grittier, more aggressive, a synth that screams its sound, then the Venom could be an interesting choice, especially considering the fact that it hasn't been very successful and you can find one on the used/refurb market for next to nothing.
