Sharp picture & sound, easy to use, high quality product.
Was looking for a used digital camcorder to record my granddaughter. Rolled the dice on this Sony HDR-SR10 camcorder and couldn't be happier! Seller had a detailed description and had checked the camcorder to make sure it was in good working order. It works (records) great. Sturdy & dependable. Easy to use.
Needing to get a second camera, I did research on the new products available, and none have better quality For the money, even though this camera model is about 10 years old. I thought there would be some revolutionary developments in the video quality since then, but evidently not. Picture quality virtually the same. I ended up buying the exact same camera that I paid $1200 for 10 years ago. This time around I got a refurbished one for only $200. Now I have a second camera to bring to the shoot to capture a different angle without shooting the same performance twice and editing together. It was difficult to find a Camera in that price range that took a microphone shoe. This one uses my same accessories and I am already familiar with how it works. When I edit the footage together, there is no difference in quality which makes it match up perfectly. The only drawback is that it does need substantial lighting, because this camera does not work really well under low light conditions. Other than that, it's the best camera I have ever owned. And I have owned many over the decades. Very little internal parts to go bad, like the video cameras of old. I'd have to throw away the whole camera just because the on button broke or the eject mechanism failed. This camera is a real workhorse. Lightweight and extremely portable.

I like this video camera!
