The SD card camcorder, the SDR-S26, features a powerful 70x optical zoom combined with an advanced optical image stabilization system that corrects hand-shake around 4,000 times per second.The implemented intelligent auto mode function automatically activates several convenient shooting assist functions. These functions include advanced O.I.S.; face detection, which adjusts exposure settings in order to capture faces perfectly; and the intelligent scene selector, which determines shooting conditions and selects scene settings accordingly.The quick start function allows the SDR-S26 camcorder to begin recording just 0.8 second from the time the LCD is opened and this around a third of the time that it takes for a camcorder that records onto DVD discs to start, making it easier to catch those special moments that come with no warning - all in clear MPEG2 DVD quality.The SDR-S26 camcorder features the YouTube Uploader function that makes video uploading super easy! Simply set the camcorder to "Web Mode" and it will record the movie in a YouTube compatible format. After shooting connect the camcorder via USB to a PC and the YouTube Uploader automatically starts. Simply follow the procedure to upload your video clips to the YouTube video-sharing site.The SDR-S26 camcorder offers a function that simplifies the process of copying recordings from the memory card or hard disk drive to a DVD. Would Buy this Camera again.
Pros are the 70x Power Zoom for Greater Distance, Facial Enhancement Feature Compatible with Facial Recognition, and Image Stabilizer evens out the shakiness. The cons are its Life Expectancy is Atrocious and has a lot to do with the Video Screen Door MUST Be Open when turning this Camera On and Off, the Tip is All must be done with the Video Screen Door Open as their is a Design Flaw, if the door is closed when turning Camera on it is surmised that a Power Surge shoots thru the Camera when the Door is finally opened and Shorts out the Camera Causing Loss of not only Function and Screen Display. This does NOT Happen on the First Few Times but adds to the stated premature failure of the Cam. One must Discipline themselves to Open said Door FIRST for On and Leave it OPEN when Turning Off and Make Sure No Power is running in Order to Achieve a Long Life Expectancy from this Camera. Has No Shock Features Handle with care and IS Sensitive to Sudden Temperature Change and Humidity, other than that it has Great Quality's that make this a Good Value as Most other Cam's with same Features are much much more Costly.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

These are great little cameras!
Well the Panasonic SDR-S26 Camcorder is a great choice for a small lightweight Camcorder plus you can usually get one on the cheap, I mean for what you get like 70 X zoom, I mean WoW it's so impressive what all they did hear, all you have to do is take a look and you will see!!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
