Blue Print ADC446175 Brake Cable

Perfect fit, excellent quality

Very happy with the replacement handbrake cable. Price is pretty good, and delivery very quick. It is a straightforward swap for the old handbrake cable and fits perfectly. It includes the brackets to fit it to the rear subframe too.
Fitting tips:
- the cable is held down by two clamps inside the cabin, one just behind the rear seats and one just in front. The back clamp can be reached by pulling up just a bit of the carpet behind the seats. However, the front one I cannot see how you can reach it without pulling up most of the carpet, which will require removing the rear seats from their runners. I really couldn't be bothered with this, so cut a slit in the carpet to access the clamp, and covered it with duct tape afterwards.
- The cable is held by three clamps to the rear subframe. On my car all were extremely rusty, the outermost one the bolt sheared, and the other two have very difficult access and I couldn't get a socket or spanner on them to get a good push on, and probably would have sheared anyway. I cut the middle clamp with an angle grinder to get the old cable out, and squeezed it closed again to hold the new cable with just one clamp.Vollständige Rezension lesen
